Our 2024 rental and utility assistance program is now open.

Our Housing Stability Program (rent and utility assistance) works with households at risk of homelessness due to eviction for lack of rent payment. It serves households whose incomes are under 50% AMI and are experiencing a housing crisis due to a financial hardship. The goal is to provide financial assistance and resources to allow households to remain housed. With the affordable housing shortage crisis in our state, short term rental assistance is one of the best tools we have to prevent households in our community from becoming homeless.

Please complete the intake form and we will reach out to you if you qualify. Submitting an intake form does not guarantee assistance through this program. There is limited funding and we are not able to serve everyone. For further information please contact us at HousingStability@SSHAWA.org or call 253-677-4159.
